Nicole is a BCRPA certified personal trainer with over 14 years experience. She holds certifications in Strength Training, Sport Nutrition, Fitness Theory and Group Fitness Leader.
Nicole specializes in rehabilitation, fitness assessments, muscle function, personalized diet, exercise plans, custom menus, recipe ideas and more.
Nicole has a passion for health and wellness and loves to help others feel more confident, experience increased energy, and improve their quality of life!
Nicole enjoys competing in figure competitions. She competes at the national level, in the Figure Division. Nicole holds three pro-level titles both national and international: IFPA, NPAA and IDFA.
Nicole is a Group Exercise Instructor, Nutrition Counselor, Workshop Presenter, and Personal Trainer. She was awarded 2015 B.C. Coach/Trainer of the year with the Natural Physiques and Athletics Association. Nicole understands how to help each individual, no matter what the goal, to achieve his/her full potential; whether it is weight loss, weight gain, increased strength, endurance, muscle toning, joint mobility, or general functionality, she can create a plan to make it happen! Nicole is not only someone who can hold you accountable to your goals and physique-related deadlines, but is also someone who cares and is invested in you.
Nicole lives in Duncan. In her spare time, she loves hiking, mountain biking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Amanda McArthur BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer

Amanda is a BCRPA certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Weight Trainer. She is the owner/operator of her personal training & fitness business SWEET SWEAT Athletica, but she is also a wife, and a newly expecting mom.
Amanda has been a personal trainer & group fitness instructor in the Cowichan Valley since 2013 and she gets great joy when she sees people become inspired and motivated to start on their own healthy journey and reach for that next level of endurance, strength and physical fitness. Helping her clients overcome personal doubt and both physical and emotional obstacles is an amazing and gratifying experience. Working with individuals to create custom Nutritional Guidance Plans and Physical Fitness Programs to help them achieve their personal goals safely and effectively is what this business is all about.
She enjoys working with a variety of clients of all ages, fitness levels, & health backgrounds. Whether it is one on one personal training sessions or a high energy group fitness class, every opportunity to work with people towards health is important.
Amanda has overcome a few personal obstacles, a struggle with an eating disorder, as well as being severely overweight and coping with a chronic illness (Crohn’s Disease). She gets it! She truly understands the struggle people go through before they decide to change their lives. She promotes hard work and commitment to health and activity in daily life. Teaching her clients that self care is a priority and can take the form of a daily physical activity, or practicing consistent & healthy eating habits, or resting when your body needs rest.
Amanda is also a passionate, 100% natural Figure Competitor and holds two Pro Card Titles, one with the NPAA (Natural Physique & Athletics Association) and the other with the IDFA (International Drug Free Athletics Association). She enjoys both physical fitness at the competitive level and the joy that comes from practicing daily health, wellness and fitness training.
In her spare time Amanda enjoys hiking with friends on any available trail in the Cowichan Valley and on Vancouver Island, boating & camping with her husband, paddle boarding on her own and spending time with family.
As a personal trainer and an athlete, she knows it takes time to transform your body and to solidify new & healthy habits in place of old ones. She offers support and is someone to help you celebrate your successes, to help reset you on your path when you stumble and to push you further then you might push yourself.
